1. Rapid Assembly: Socket Fusion Fittings utilize a hot-melt socket welding process. Welding is completed simply by inserting the pipe into the sleeve and heating for tens of seconds. The overall operation time is significantly shorter than the minutes or even hours required for traditional arc or gas welding. 2. Low O...

View MoreWhat are the key steps in installing Socket Fusion Fittings, 1.0 MPa?
1. Pipe Cleaning and Inspection
Use a dedicated cleaning brush or lint-free cloth to thoroughly remove oil, dust, and moisture from the inside and outside of the pipes, ensuring a clean joint surface.
Inspect the pipes for cracks, deformation, or corrosion; replace if necessary to avoid affecting the weld quality.
2. Preheating and Positioning
Preheat the heat fusion machine to the specified temperature (generally 260℃±10℃) and install the corresponding heating sleeve on the machine.
Insert the pipe and Socket Fusion Fittings, 1.0 MPa simultaneously into the heating sleeve, keeping them aligned, ensuring both ends are evenly heated for 3–5 seconds (10kg class) or 5–7 seconds (16kg class).
3. Welding and Cooling
After removing the heating sleeve, immediately push the pipe and joint into the pre-set groove, maintaining pressure for 2–3 seconds to allow the melt to fully fuse.
Allow the joint to cool naturally for 10–15 seconds, avoiding any external pulling during this period to prevent leaks.
4. Quality Inspection
Visual inspection, air pressure testing, or water pressure testing are used to confirm that the joints are leak-free.
For critical projects (such as solar photovoltaic and semiconductor production lines), an ultrasonic testing instrument can be used to further verify the integrity of the weld.
How to select the appropriate pressure rating based on the piping design drawings?
1. Confirm Working Pressure
Based on the system working pressure (e.g., 0.6MPa, 0.8MPa) and the highest instantaneous pressure in the design drawings, select Socket Fusion Fittings, 1.0 MPa with a pressure rating no lower than this value.
Our company offers a 1.0MPa rating, suitable for most industrial pipelines, including chemical, pharmaceutical, and environmental systems.
2. Match Pipe Diameter and Weight Rating
The 10kg rating is suitable for small-diameter pipes of DN15–DN25 (outer diameter 15–25mm);
The 16kg rating is suitable for large-diameter pipes of DN32–DN40 (outer diameter 32–40mm).
Select the corresponding weight rating according to the pipe diameter in the design drawings to ensure connection strength and pressure resistance.
3. Consider Media Characteristics
For highly corrosive or high-temperature media (such as chemical or semiconductor cleaning fluids), our Socket Fusion Fittings, 1.0 MPa, made of high-performance polypropylene (PP) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC), are preferred due to their excellent chemical compatibility.
4. Refer to Company Patented Technology
Jiangsu Leiting Precision New Materials Co., Ltd. holds 81 patents (including 36 invention patents), many of which optimize high-pressure welding structures, providing more reliable sealing performance under high-pressure environments.
